Winter Baths.

13:30:00

The Autumn/Winter season has come; a time where the days get cooler and everybody starts to layer up in snug jumpers and cosy knits. I came home from college this weekend to an empty bathtub which was staring right at me as if to beckon me to have a bath.

It's been awhile since I had a bath. For one there isn't a bath in my ensuite bathroom in UCD. Also I had a few products from "LUSH" which I bought ages ago and didn't have a chance to try out yet. It was the perfect opportunity.

I decided to go with a bath bar as opposed to a bath bomb this time as I never used a bath bar before. Also bath bars produce bubbles which are far more fun! So I picked up a portion of my red-firey coloured bath bar, titled "Brightlights" I believe. (Correct me if I'm wrong). I thought I'd post my thoughts on the product despite the fact that there are probably millions of reviews speckled on social media on this product.

The color of the product is what initially attracted me to it. The swirls of red, orange and yellow mixed together created a lovely look similar to a flame. Then I smelt it. I can't stress enough how much I loved the smell, a beautiful orange zesty fragrance.

The principle attraction to this product is probably that it is better value than the bath bombs as it is re-usable. You remove a chunk of it and crumble it under the tap water. It'll then begin to dye the bath water and produce fun-filled bubble. In the case of this product, it made the water form what can only be described as a Lucozade bath. That is honestly how the color appears in person. The picture doesn't exactly give the color any justice!

I felt that the scent once mixed up in the water began to diminish slightly contrasting to the bath bombs which remain intense for the duration of the bath.

In conclusion, the bath was a perfect, pumpkin-y halloween-y color. What a great way to start my winter baths. Over-all I'd give the product a 7/10.
